This site was inspired by David & Jessica, my brother and sister who went through the foster-care system with me. I created this site to help kids who are going through the same things that we went through figure it all out. It can be overwhelming at times.
Bio:
Alex Ambroz, founder of Onward & Upwards, was a foster-kid in the state of Massachusetts from Sept. 1992 until Jan. 1997. He spent three years with the U.S. Army and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC and is trying to learn Chinese (Wo bu shuo Han yu!).
