Can you help a foster-kid pay for college?
Our fundraising goal for 2010 is $25,000. We have our first scholarship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (the Onward and Upwards Scholarship). Two students have received scholarships this year and will continue to receive the scholarship until they graduate. Your donation can help us increase the number of foster-youth who will receive the scholarship as well as increase the amount we are able to give to each student. Other important details: 100% of all donations will go towards scholarships for foster-kids. We are very fortunate that an anonymous benefactor has agreed to pay all of our administrative expenses (i.e. website hosting costs, fundraising costs, etc.).
